چکیده

Objectives: To determine frequency of left main stem (LMS) and triple vessel coronary artery disease (3VCAD) in patients Non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) to compare the LMS 3VCAD with NSTEMI or without ST elevation lead aVR. Methodology: Total 346 having age 30-70 years were included this descriptive cross-sectional study. The data on demographic details was collected. All underwent electrocardiography (ECG) cardiac specific troponin-I assessment. Patients categorized as ST-elevation Coronary angiography performed all angiographic findings noted. Results: Mean 51.87±10.03 years. There 218 (63.01%) males 128 (36.99%) female patients. 182 (52.60%) had found 53 (29.10%) Sensitivity, specificity, positive predive value negative predictive aVR for 62.35%, 50.57%, 29.12% 80.49% respectively. 3 VCAD 54 (29.70%) 77.14%, 53.52%, 29.67% 90.24% Conclusion: may have higher chances 3VCAD. is high predict

Prognostic significance of ST segment changes in lead aVR in patients with acute inferior myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation.

BACKGROUND Patients with inferior wall ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) are considered to be at lower risk than patients with anterior wall STEMI. Nonetheless, 30-40% of all acute inferior wall MI cases have a poor prognosis. AIM To assess the frequency of ST segment changes (elevation or depression) in lead aVR in inferior STEMI patients, and to determine the clinical cours...

Study of the Duration, Outcomes, and Related Factors of Reperfusion Therapy in Patients with ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Background and Objective: One of the most important advancements regarding the care of patients with acute myocardial infarction is the administration of anti-coagulation medicines (e.g., streptokinase). However, it must be noticed that this medicine requires rapid and timely administration. Moreover, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is increasingly used as a method of revascularization...

Treatment of non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction and ST-elevation myocardial infarction in patients with chronic kidney disease

Renal dysfunction is frequent in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS). Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with very poor prognosis and is an independent predictor of early and late mortality and major bleeding in patients with NSTE-ACS. Patients with NSTE-ACS and CKD are still rarely treated according to guidelines. Medical registers reveal that pati...

aVR ST elevation: an important but neglected sign in ST elevation acute myocardial infarction.

AIM This study evaluated the prognostic implications of aVR ST elevation during ST elevation acute myocardial infarction (AMI). METHODS AND RESULTS The Hirulog and Early Reperfusion/Occlusion-2 study randomized 17 073 patients with acute ST elevation AMI within 6 h of symptom onset to receive either bivalirudin or heparin, in addition to streptokinase and aspirin. The treatments had no effect...
